The FlowScore mobile app helps athletes stay informed throughout a competition. Using the app, you can view schedules, heat sheets, team rosters, competition results and personalized event information all from your phone.
This guide will walk you through the most important features and show you how to find information quickly.
Getting Started
Downloading the app
To begin, download the FlowScore app from your app store.
Once the app is installed, open it on your device.
Selecting a Competition
When you first open FlowScore, you will see a list of competitions available to you.
Upcoming competitions are highlighted, making them easy to identify. Past competitions are available to review results.
Select the competition you would like to view to access schedules, teams, and results.
Viewing the Competition Schedule
After selecting a competition, the Schedule tab opens automatically.
The schedule displays all sessions taking place during the competition. Within each session, you can view the heats assigned to that session.
Select any session to view its complete heat sheet.
The heat sheet provides important details including:
- Events
- Heat assignments
- Station information
Finding Your Heat Sheets
Method 1: Through the Teams Tab
Select the Teams icon located at the bottom of the screen.
A list of all registered teams will appear.
Scroll through the list and select your team.
You will then see all athletes registered under that team.
Select your name to view your personal event schedule.
Your personal event schedule displays:
- Events you are in
- Heat assignments
- Stations
- Event dates
- Event start times.
Method 2: Through the "Me" Tab
Another way to get to the same place is through the "Me" tab.
To use this feature, you must:
- Have an IJRU account.
- Be logged into that account in FlowScore.
- Be registered for the competition using the same account.
Once logged in, the Me tab provides quick access to your competition schedule without needing to search through teams and athlete lists.
I am not logged into the right account which is why I cannot see my schedule.
For the best experience, athletes are encouraged to create and use an IJRU account.
Viewing Competition Results
Select the Results tab to access official competition results.
Note: Results may not appear immediately after an event concludes.
Results are published at the discretion of competition organizers.
If results are enabled for public viewing, FlowScore provides several ways to locate specific events.
Filtering Results by Event
One of the easiest ways to find results is by selecting an event from the event filter.
This option displays all available results for the selected event.
When looking for a specific result this is often the fastest way.
Filtering Results by Session
Results can also be organized by Session.
This option is helpful when reviewing multiple events that occurred during the same competition session.
For example, athletes may use session filters to view all speed events completed during a specific session.
Filtering Results by Division
The Division filter allows you to narrow results to a specific division.
Depending on the competition, divisions may represent qualification rounds, finals, or other competition categories.
For example, at US Nationals, final divisions are referred to as "Grands 2026".
Age group filters help athletes find results within their competitive age category.
You may notice multiple categories within similar age ranges.
For example:
- Categories labeled "(S)" indicate individual or single-rope events.
- Categories such as "15 & Under" or "16+ (Allow younger)" may be used for teamshow and DDC.
- The "16+" is used for Triple Unders.
If you are unsure which category applies to your event, filtering by event name is often the simplest and fastest option.
Filtering Results by Gender
Results can also be filtered by Gender category.
The most common categories are included in the screenshot above.
Remember: Mixed gender means it is a group event with both Male and Female Athletes.
Tips for Athletes
Use the "Me" Tab
Logging into your IJRU account provides the quickest access to your personal event schedule as long as your IJRU account is registered under your name in the competition.
Be Patient with Results
Competition results may take time to be verified before they are published.
